Yes, you can use Qantas Travel Money even if the local currency isn’t available on your card.

The transaction will be converted at the Qantas Travel Money Daily Rate from your available currency balances using the default order of priority. The default order of priority is:

  1. Australian Dollars (AUD)
  2. United States Dollars (USD)
  3. Great British Pounds (GBP)
  4. Euros (EUR)
  5. Thai Baht (THB)
  6. New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
  7. Singapore Dollars (SGD)
  8. Hong Kong Dollars (HKD)
  9. Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  10. Japanese Yen (JPY)
  11. UAE Dirham (AED)
