Why does the Qantas Card have two sides?

The Qantas Card is dual-sided to give you access to Qantas Travel Money and Qantas Frequent Flyer program benefits. Side one is your Frequent Flyer membership card, displaying your name, membership number and join date. If applicable, your membership anniversary date will also be shown.

Side two is your Qantas Travel Money prepaid Mastercard facility, displaying your name, 16-digit Qantas Travel Money number, Qantas Travel Money expiry date, CVC number, signature stripe, the Mastercard Contactless logo and the Mastercard acceptance mark. Your CVC (Card Verification Code) is the three-digit code printed in the signature panel of your card. This code provides an additional layer of protection to your card. Some merchants may request your CVC number when you make a purchase online or over the phone.
