Can I use Qantas Pay if the local currency isn’t available?

Yes, you can use Qantas Pay even if the local currency isn’t available to load on your card.

The transaction will be converted at the Qantas Pay Daily Rate from your available currency balances using the default order of priority (see below). The first default currency is Australian Dollars (AUD).

This means you can add Australian Dollars and spend in over 140 foreign currencies. You can review the Qantas Pay Daily Rate for each available currency here.

  10. Thai Baht (THB)
  11. United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED)
  12. South African Rand (ZAR)
  13. Swiss Franc (CHF)
  14. Danish krone (DKK)
  15. Norwegian krone (NOK)
  16. Swedish krona (SEK)
  17. Fijian Dollar (FJD)*
  18. Indonesian Rupiah (IDR)*
