How is my Qantas Money credit card account protected?

There are a number of ways we protect your Qantas Money credit card account, so you can rest assured that your money is in safe hands.

With 24/7 fraud protection, we monitor every transaction you make on your Qantas Money credit card for irregular activity. If a suspicious transaction is detected, we may contact you to take action where we will verify you and your account, and one of our friendly team members will be available to assist you in resolving the problem as soon as possible.

If we detect suspicious activity, we may also send an automated SMS to confirm the transaction with you. This SMS will come from [+61 438 353 952].

If you receive this SMS from us, please respond with either:

‘1’ if you authorised the transaction and we’ll automatically remove the block on your card

‘0’ if you didn’t authorise the transaction, we’ll then send a follow up SMS and one of our fraud specialists will call you shortly after.

If the original transaction was declined, you can try again after responding to the SMS.

For all general enquiries or to report transactions that you don’t recognise, please call Qantas Money credit card support on 1300 992 700.

We also ask you to enter a password when you access features that are considered high risk such as activating your card, choosing your PIN, viewing statements and notices, locking your card or reporting it lost or stolen. This provides an extra layer of security to help protect your account from unauthorised access.
